British Showjumping competitions
We are holding either Juniors BSJ, or Senior BSJ or Mixed Shows
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The Show Organiser referred to in these Rules and Regulations shall hereinafter mean Maelor EC The competition on May 18th will hereinafter be referred to as the Show. 2. All horses competing in the affiliated section must be registered with British Showjumping. 3. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 4. The Show Organiser retains as its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 5. Competitions - The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the British Showjumping 6. Smoking - Smoking is not permitted within any of the showground buildings or stables. 7. Collecting Ring - All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Ring provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave. 8. Represented Cheques or Credit Cards - Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a £15.00 administration fee for each occasion. 9. Vehicles - The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 10. Dogs - Dogs are permitted in the Lorry Park and car park only. They must be kept under control at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show Organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave the Showground. 11. Prize Giving - The Show organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Prize Giving. 12. Objections - Objection should be made in writing in accordance to BSJA Rule 198. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show in accordance to Rule 96.2 13. Vaccination Certificate - All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground. 14. Stallions - No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury. Rule 82.21 Please read carefully the General Rules and Regulations. Any person coming to the show or involved in any aspect of the meeting is deemed bound by the General Rules & Regulations.
